The solar power system at Fire Station 40 is the first of several to be installed at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) by Cherry Street Energy through the Solar Atlanta Program – a Solar Energy Purchase Agreement between the City of Atlanta, Cherry Street Energy, and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. 

This ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrates a milestone in the sustainability goals and initiatives of ATL.
